With over 20 years experience of working as a Special Needs Coordinator and Behaviour Support Specialist in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and Singapore, I have decided to work for private clients and small groups in Phnom Penh. I fell in love with Cambodia while working for the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in Ratanakiri Province as an Inclusive Education Advisor.
Main Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Inclusive Education from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. My thesis was on identifying and supporting students with dyslexia and associated reading difficulties, particularly in International schools.
Post Graduate Diploma in Inclusive Pedagogy, University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. My focus here was on overcoming the challenges to supporting students with autistic spectrum disorders/Asperger's Syndrome in mainstream schools.
Post Graduate Certificate in Inclusive Education. Focus on supporting students with behaviour difficulties and attention challenges (such as those diagnosed with ADHD) in mainstream education settings
